How to Buy Premium Iranian Saffron
A concise buyer’s guide to origin, grade, laboratory reports and packaging.
Start with origin and grade
Premium saffron is strongly associated with Khorasan, particularly Qaenat, Torbat-e Heydarieh, Gonabad and Ferdows. Define whether you need Super Negin, Negin, Sargol, Pushal or another commercial grade before requesting a quotation.
Request objective quality evidence
Ask for recent laboratory information covering colour strength, aroma, taste indicators, moisture and any destination-specific microbiological requirements. Photos alone cannot confirm saffron quality.
Protect the product
Packaging should limit exposure to light, moisture and air. For a first transaction, begin with samples or a controlled trial order before increasing volume.
Clear specifications and laboratory verification are more valuable than a low headline price.
